Reviews about Pay & benefits for Team Leader at Waitrose & Partners
Fun place to work
Team Manager (Current Employee) - Rushden - 18 August 2023
Good job security and can develop yourself with skills but not great progression or increase of pay. Unfortunately that’s retail and how the buisness model is saving money.

Toxic environment
Team Leader (Former Employee) - Ipswich, Suffolk - 17 April 2023
Toxic environment in Ipswich. Very hard to move up. Management extremely poor and deceitful. If they don’t like you, you may as well leave. Other colleagues very friendly.
Pros
Money is reasonable and discount is good
Cons
Toxic

Good reputation but old ways of working
Team Manager (Former Employee) - Winchester, Hampshire - 1 October 2022
I spent 4 years in the partnership. I was lucky that I was in the right place right time with some of my progression, it’s very much if your face fits though. There are some really great people in the partnership. It’s lost it’s personal feeling now. They run stuff so inefficiently because they’re scared of change. Management don’t receive proper training so performance isn’t managed or they make poor decisions because they’ve no training.
Pros
Great benefits, the people, opportunities, good reputation
Cons
Long hours, Salary, hard work, lot of red tape to get things done, micromanaged
