Very incompetent management
The management is terrible they can do whatever they want. Managers covering each others back and HR is useless they not even getting back to you with a query and If they do you not getting helped by them , the managers can bully you and no one does really anything. There are some decent people in higher positions, but the majority treat people like numbers. There is no chance to move to higher position only if you are friends with the managers, positions given out like this not based on abilities and experience. The money is not great too. They just only care about to make themselves look good I would not recommend to anyone to work there.

classic call centre environment
Management like to boast about how the company is all for the customer but in my experience the opposite is true, there are more barriers for customers than any other place I have worked. There is no fair complaints system in place and customer service agents have no autonomy to fix buyer issues which increases abuse from customers and you are told to just get on with it and patronise the customer by apologising. Also, one business day to get anything resolved slows productivity entirely unnecessarily. Too much focus on forcing agents to behave like smiling robots and reach unrealistic metrics and not enough focus on creating a smoother customer experience. I found the atmosphere of working here generally nice however, management can be fake and condescending. Initial training is good however completely irrelevant to what dealing with customers is actually like, you are employed with the promise split time between phones, email & chat but in reality you spend 90% of the day on phones. Also working 8.5 hours with only one unpaid break feels like you are being taken advantage of when colleagues in other market zones get breaks throughout the day. There should be a companywide break policy that gives all employees the same benefits. My main takeaway from working here is that the company really only cares about making a profit, the work life balance is next to zero, employees have no autonomy and likewise management's only focus is unrealistic and old fashioned metrics.

Very results focused
Places results above all else including customers and colleagues. Extremely unrealistic in expectations. Lacks ownership in customer experience passes the buck onto colleagues rather than take ownership on company failures or lack of customer prioritisation or experience.

Great Culture and Benifits
The culture they have for staff and the benefits they have are great, It is very typical call center work and is still focused around metrics and being able to perform to those.

A fantastic place to work!!! A+++
Wayfair is hands down the best place I have worked. The culture, the training and the genuine career progression make them a stand out employer. Being part of a hyper-growth business comes with such excitement! You have the opportunity to get involved in many different things which means your days are never dull. If you want progression/movement and show willingness they're always open to facilitating it if possible. A brilliant company to be a part of!!!
