How would you describe the pace of work at Well?

5 answers

  • Very stressful... when I started my role there was 4 dispensers including myself. When 3 members left the company in the space of 6 months they expected you to just carry on and work 3 people’s work load. And when the other dispenser was off ill or day off I was expected to work alone with the pharmacist.

Most the time I didn’t have a lunch break. Getting abuse of customers all day because the work was never completed as we ran on skeleton staff.

If your thinking of working for Well please don’t. It destroyed my mental heath and me as a person.

I know work for a company who respect me and listen to me if I’m struggling with anything.

  • Stressful beyond measure. Make sure you have no moral code because you’ll be asked to do everything to meet targets and profit margins with no care for patients. Being a pharmacist with 11 years experience I promise you, this company, head office and especially RDM in Essex do,not, care about your feelings as a human being, they only care about targets and making money.

  • Expect to to do the work of four people...including serving people , dispensing prescriptions, answering the phone and mopping the floor ...all at the same time...

  • It will vary between branches but generally very fast paced.

  • Fast paced environment in a fast paced industry
