Well
Well Employee Review
Sad decline since Well took over from co-op
Pharmacy dispenser (Current Employee) - Glasgow - 29 November 2022
Poor pay, poor progression, poor opportunities and too focussed on making profit from sundries. Sad decline where bath products are more important than medicines..

A terrible company to work for
Pharmacy Dispenser (Former Employee) - Loughborough, Leicestershire - 10 December 2022
Well is an awful company to work for in my experience. All their branches are massively under staffed and they don't pay their staff enough for the amount of stress and pressure they are put under every single day. Management offer no help when issues are raised and expect branch base colleagues to do overtime at the drop of a hat. I would never advise anyone to take a job within Well.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Low wages and extremely stressful

Life sucking...
Pharmacy Dispenser (Former Employee) - North East - 12 November 2022
When you have a fab team in store, it makes up for all the negatives of this company. Sadly there is very little support for the pharmacist managers, which then has a knock on effect for the staff. Getting paid for the services they do is more important than there regular patients, the company upper management really don't care if patients go with out medication, as long as you hit vaccine, blood pressure and new medicines targets, then the staff are doing a good job??!! Sad really. Store level managers really supportive, thankfully..

Worked for them for 5 years and I kept telling myself that things would improve but they just got worse. Anxious and overwoked staff with very low morale and just hanging on.No support from management.High volume of absence due to stress, causing even more stress for the ones in work.Avoid at all cost!
