West London NHS Trust Employee Review
poor management, only interested in targets
IAPT therapist (Former Employee) - Ealing, Greater London - 5 July 2021
Management is uninterested in your well being and only interested in targets. they are very robotic and non-empathetic, even rude at times. colleagues are really lovely though but there is a very high turnover not surprisingly. it has got worse in the last two years. I would not recommend it. It was actually detrimental to many of my colleagues mental health and my own
Pros
Great colleagues
Cons
Awful management

CBT Therapist (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 31 March 2018
Obsessed with data and targets. Don’t care about staff. Management is inconsistent and huge staff turnover. There is nowhere to go with issues.
Good training opportunities. Nice people.
Poor operations and nowhere to remedy.
Pros
Training, colleagues
Cons
Management, targets, wellbeing

Newborn Hearing Screener (Current Employee) - Middlesex - 24 October 2022
I’ve enjoyed working in my current role with the NHS. From interview to date I have felt welcomed and comfortable. I would say take a chance but be sure the field you apply for does actually interest you.
Pros
Canteen and parking
Cons
It took 6 months from my interview to start date.

Good work culture, bad salary and poor staff retention.
Community Psychiatric Nurse (Current Employee) - London, Greater London - 19 October 2022
Wonderful team to work for. Management is understating and supportive. Unfortunately, salary does not reflect cost of living. As a result of this, a high percentage of nurses turn to agency, which leads to staff shortage and high turn over of staff.
Pros
Good work culture, flexible, good management
Cons
Poor salary, short staffed
