Volunteer
Although I was a volunteer working two other jobs and attending university at the time, I was given a rough ride by the management team in place at my unit to keep giving more and more hours.

Has to be the most outdated racist police force in the country
I have had face to face twice with this blood suckers. All they do is take tax payers money and give it to incompetent Caucasian people. They don’t do their job and violate rights of human beings in their custody I have officially opened an investigation into this backward ancient worse terrible force in the country. In my opinion scrap them and let’s make vigilante groups waSte of tax and tax payers money they are the real bullies criminals

Challenging and rewarding role
The most challenging but rewarding role I have ever had. Transferring from private to public sector working was definitely a culture shock. Due to a substantial lack of resources, some things that are taken for granted in most companies i.e. work equipment, system training etc. can take quite a while to materialise, so patience and persistence is required. Work loads and responsibility are high and working over is required often. Opportunities for development very much depend on your area of work, with some departments offering career progression schemes. Work culture is almost tribal and you really feel like your part of something purposeful and the work itself is highly interesting.

Ok place to work
ok place to work it is hard to advance from the initial role as development opportunities tend to be within department rather than promotion, good team atmosphere and colleagues are easy to build a strong relationship with

Good
Really good place to work and feel part of a team. When shifts changed it wasn’t for me but other than that I do miss working there. Good place to work
