Lack of hours
Was promised plenty of hours but in reality you lucky to get 16. Managers have their favourites who get regular work while rest beg for scraps. Head housekeeper says one thing then contradicts herself. Do not recommend if you have bills to pay. Room Attendant/Housekeeping in Lichfield, Staffordshire

Wouldn’t work there again
When I worked there I was about 18 and working part time. It was a 0 hours contract but that was fine. Except, I was never given shifts because the salary paid workers needed the work. Pay was never correct. Managers picked on me and so did other staff. There was never enough equipment in order to do the job, although looking back I think this was on purpose. Never enough time to do each room no matter the state it was in. This was at Wall Island Lichfield. Room Attendant in Manchester

A little bit hard job
The working time is fit for anyone who are as a family carer role, but it’s not enough income for living cost, so even it’s quite happy but a little hard job, I need to find another job or one more part time job. Housekeeping Manager in Novitel

Avoid
Expect too much, and to work extra unpaid hours. Constantly short staffed no support at all from area manager. Lots of pressure, no standards all about productivity Head Housekeeper in Newcastle upon tyne

Best company so far
I've worked for quite few housekeeping companies, and as of now WGC is the best one. Area supervisor helping whenever you need help and not turning his back when you need help. Communication with head office it's straight forward and you always getting answer you need. What would you say about your employer?
