On busy times it gets really crowded which might get a bit stressful. It also depends which department you are working at. Being a produce member at smoothie bar was quite difficult.

Never again

Produce & Grocery Team Member (Former Employee) - Clapham Junction - 18 November 2017

My first job experience in London helped realizing what I would never want to do again in the future. Workers are seen as numbers and not treated fairly or/with respect. Once you make a mistake (ex: forget to take a product of the shelf) you are taken to a tiny room where the managers will make you feel you committed the worst crime ever and treat you like a murderer. A very disrespectful place to work.

Creative and busy

Days will vary greatly, and there will always be something to be done, you kinda do your own work, but always with the supervision, it can be fun but also stressful.

Pros

25% discount, also get the staff discount on top of other discount sale

Cons

allow customers to do pretty much anything they want, example, sampling and trying the products

Wholefoods Market is an American Grocery store with an emphasis on organic and fair trade foodstuffs which is procured from around the globe. Fun and Friendly company to work for.

Fun workplace

A typical day at work was to set up the Juice bar and keep it full and tidy at all times while dealing with customers. I enjoyed talking to customers!
