I have received my discount card after 3 months and the discount varies on the product, in most stationery items its 25% occasionally 50%. Even if you don't receive the card I am sure your colleagues will let you use their staff discount( my colleagues did)
After 3 months probation period. You get 15% discount card. If you work in a travel store you get the discount only in your own store, as well as all other high street stores.
