  • Not enough hours, even after over a year of loyalty and promises of more hours. Non supervisors get full time contracts when I'm told only supervisors get full time, so now I'm moving on, such a shame.

  • The sticky brown stuff rolls downhill and unfortunately all Wilko shop staff (apart from managers) are at the bottom of that hill. I am looking forward to the day when I tell them to shove it.

  • 3 or 4 hours shifts a day. Even after years working there you won’t get more than 15 hours a week.

  • I left so that I could pursue a career in another sector, there’s not much progression in retail.

  • Poor management and not worth the hassle of being worried if you will get enough shifts to pay the months bills.

  • Change of career , new challenges, better family life balance, better pay , better job security , future prospects to achieve what I want to achieve in my work life

  • Undervalued, under appreciated, over worked, you get no respect and walk out the door not even having a one to one meeting to terminate my contract,I have no clue what to.do with my uniform or my discount card disgraceful I feel so heartbroken by the lack of loyalty this company has.

  • Improved career prospects with a better managed company.

  • Bullying by management

  • Poorly run,no concerns for employees you are more owns than employed at DC 2
