Meh, it’s alright …

Indeed featured review

If you get a good group of you working together, you find the shifts go quick. But when I was there they liked to really down play my abilities at times (even though a small amount of colleagues knew I was capable of good work) which caused unnecessary and awkward situations for no reason.

Good people, good discount.

Wasn’t enough hours to give when I was there.

Worked both retail and HO.Nice friendly environment

Lovely place to work, however tough in this climate with high work load and short on hours. This used to be a great company but everyone seems to be looking elsewhere

No progression

productive and condusive enviroment to work in nice people and and overall sense of enjoyment from all people, managment are nice and friendly but dont always open up to asking for support always enjoyed speaking with customers, a good company as a whole but the work can be repetetive

nice honest people, good managment, sociable, flexible hours

lack of help when needed, no sense of belonging, nothing keeping you there apart from a paycheck every week

Poor - middle management heavy

Lack of accountability with slow and painful relience on always getting sign off and approval further and further up the chain Zero progression or encouragement to advance and move forwardStuck in the past, extremely slow to move forward or try anything new

Flexibility with some remote working - line manager dependant

Toxic work culture, real gamble on management with clear divides, Severe lack of dealing with issues - managers want an easy ride

Very fun but horrible hours

Often working 3 hour shifts which is a complete waste of time. No paid breaks. Management and other employees are great and very supportive. Overall easy work but the hours are too short would be better if they offered a 6 hour shift on one day instead of 3 hour shifts on 2 days.

3 hour shifts

Fast pace

Everyone is friendly. Fast pace and required to meet deadlines and pick accurately. Everyone works together as a family and makes sure that no one is lost or clueless they’re always happy to help.

Horrible place and rude management

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone the management is rude and lazy don’t even bother wasting your breath trying to book a holiday the site isn’t very clean and it is a tedious and horrible place

Friendly relaxed work place

As an hgv driver here you are payed one of the best wages in South wales and if you do overtime you can really earn some good money and the staff are all really good to get on with

Good hours

Lack of training

was fun place to work but as time went on they didn't replace and now have their sites running on bare bone staff. The company really needs to look after the stores it has/had then making new ones.

Supportive environment

I feel free to be myself here. My colleagues are great and the supervisors are too. Store manager is a good man. Retail can be quite frustrating and customers can often talk to you like you were scraped off their shoe but equally there are some amazing customers as well.

Good management

Not a bad place to work when I was there.

Just do your job and go home, keep your head down and stay neutral and it can be a good place to work, I think the shift patterns have changed since I was there so be thorough in making sure it’s right for you.

fun work place not much room for career growth

the job itself isn't hard. basic retail knowledge required. basic tasks included;tidying the storeworking delivery from cages - this is probably one of the downsides to the job as the cages are excessively stacked with stock from all around the store so working one individual cage could take some time which management was not understanding of .otherwise other than the low pay, the job is actually half decent, good for people wanting to gain experience.supervisors were all young but made the job worth while, they balanced out the bad in managment.

Interesting place to work

A fun and interesting place to work. The only thing I would say is that the training isn’t very good you are expected to learn a lot on your own and receive minimal training

Don’t do it to yourself

Would not recommend working for the company. The management aren’t great and a lot of the staff are very cliquey and are often all talking about each other behind their backs. Bullying was a major issue in my store.

Ok work place

It’s not, even a good environment. It was okay I was expecting better. And they don’t tell you at the interview that rotas change, they just expect you to know.

Very under staffed

Not enough staff to do all the jobs that need doing. Some management enjoy bully some staff. It was soul destroying. Most other staff are nice. The company seem to want long serving staff gone for some reason

No work life balance and terrible managers

Good retail environment

Easy non stressful job. Good management who gets stuck in with shop floor tasks that helps. Reasonable hours and management who listen.to your needs. Good career progression when I first started but then started removing layers of management so got stuck. Would recommend

Organised management

Well organised shift patterns and helpful colleagues, managers work as hard as colleagues and there is a good team spirit and everyone helps each other.

Great colleague discount, good shift patterns

Good but need internal development

I mainly left due to lack of progression. I would have loved to stay at the company and work my way up but sadly they removed all the assistant managers in my area and the jump to manager would have been too much. Need to increase pay for supervisor as I was running the shop most of the time as no new manager could be found. Like I said I would have happily gone for assistant manager if they had one.
