Flexible
Flexible, inshop progression (i.e. becoming a manager of a shop), overtime is easily available, can achieve WOW points that can be transferred into vouchers for money off. Overall good if you are a student or intend to work part time.

Decent place to work
Not a bad place to work but some customers can be a nightmare.Always have plenty of hours available so if your looking to make some decent overtime money you could do worse.

Nice co workers and managment not good pay
Pay isn’t good for security risk.Work balance is good.Co workers and managment are nice.Fairly treated there’s room for changing shifts and always overtime available.

Would never work there again
No work/life balance at all. Favouritism is rife in this environment and nothing is done about it. Managers changing shifts last minute and not even making you aware. Not getting to take breaks on a regular basis. Constant phonecalls in days off to cover shifts.

Highly variable, rarely positive experience.
Working at William Hill is an experience that ranges from easy but boring and uninspiring to absolutely miserable.Depending on the shop/area you work in and the attitude of your manager this job can vary greatly but you can consistently rely on not being recognised/rewarded for your individual skills/ability.I have worked in multiple areas over the years at William Hill, taken abuse from and been treated poorly by customers and middle managers alike and regularly am made to feel disposable.Although the job isn’t particularly taxing when you’ve been there for a while and know how to do everything you still carry a lot of responsibility working in a licensed premises.Dealing with large amounts of cash and security issues as well as age verification, compliance and safer gambling issues along with unsociable working hours, typically working 5 days a week anywhere from 8 am up to 10pm Monday - Sunday for about 10 pound an hour as a customer experience manager is what you can expect.
