I applied for the job on a Friday and the next day I was emailed to come in for an interview on Monday. My interview was with the services manager. She started it off by telling me about herself and her role. Then she asked me about myself, my hobbies, if I have worked at a supermarket before, what kind of role I would like, my availability and if I had any questions.
Interview consisted of can you read and write? YES. When can you take up the Job offer.
For me i really enjoyed my interview. it was really comfortable and just felt like a nice conversation. definitely owe it to revising mock interview questions as there were scenario questions and name a time when question. also the classic why e should hire you and why would you want to work for morrisons. i was told at the interview that i had the job.
Has to be the worst interview I've ever had, the guy seemed like he wasn't even bothered didn't even ask about previous experience or skills just gave a few generic scenarios and then told me the doors on the left, it almost felt like they from the off he thought I was wasting his time or something 😅
I was applying for a temp job so the interview was really quick. Main questions were if I'd had customer service experience before and what good customer service meant for me. I think their main priority was somebody who is flexible and is happy to work early/late. They said for normal interviews they would do a group interview, do teamwork exercises, get me to describe my favourite Morrisons product etc but because they're hiring so many temp staff mine was a lot shorter.
It was pretty easy. I had mine on Friday the 24th April. Just ask you some scenario questions. And flexibility he said he will ring me back in a week time to let me know if I got the job or not
Really easy and straightforward. 5 questions relating to the role and took around 15 minutes
Hi interview process, very easy apply online do question air, if lucky get a invitation for job interview, once got a interview it depends on job role but to be honest my interview was very informal just a chat explained about morrions and what the job was about , then that was it heard back 2 days later saying i got job .
My interview at Morrisons was my first interview (so I don't have anything else to really compare it with). The lady who interviewed me was lovely she made me feel comfortable by speaking to me as if I was just having a normal conversation. She had a booklet and asked me if I had ever been in certain scenarios e.g. Think about a time where you have been helpful... It was quite nice and easy, there's not much to worry about at all. By the way I got the job :)
My interview was for an administration assistant, but I think all interviews are similar for most roles. Mine was very basic, what experience do you have in retail etc, but the big question is your flexibility, if your not fully flexible they won’t like it. So before interview think about if your happy with working the core hours of 4 am to 10pm. I never have two weeks the same. So main interview question they want to hear is fully flexible
