What is the best part of working at the company?Utter chaos! Under staffed, low moral amongst staff. Multi tasking at a moments notice. I would not recommend working for morrisons at all….. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Inconsistency! All managers have different ideas therefor you are using your time changing displays according to individual managers What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Cold. Inconsistent food in the canteen for staff lunch. 70% of food in the main cafe but if it’s busy you have no chance! The wait is to long. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Busy. Which is a blessing otherwise you could freeze.

What is the best part of working at the company?The discount was helpful. Some of my colleagues were nice. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Not enough staff to do the work. Some managers were toxic. Some were just clueless which made working difficult. Equipment, eg scanners etc, old and often not working, even if you managed to get hold of one. A few older staff who had worked there for years, unhelpful and unpleasant. Low staff morale, though understandable, made it depressing place to work.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The canteen was good until it was virtually closed down. Never open in the early mornings so no help to early starters. Store Managers came and went, some good and some awful. The culture was pretty bad, no one cared about the staff.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Hard physical work on the shop floor. Customers were pleasant which helped.

What is the best part of working at the company?The 1st 10 years, once Sir Ken had gone the consideration for the staff also went, I'm afraid it's their way or no way " for the good of the business" is the favourite saying of the management.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Short staffed in all deptments so you are unable to complete anything to a satisfactory level What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The staff that's been there years are unhappy and most are looking for a position elsewhere but obviously if you've worked there for years there are bonuses that have accrued n in a new position you would have to rebuild these again.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Go in at 5.30am begin my job to be called out of the office to help out in another department and then be under pressure to complete the days work before the shift ends, cos they don't like to pay you overtime.

No regular hours What is a typical day like for you at the company?Very hard work started on the single stem floristry and within a month other jobs have been added do I cannot give the job proper attention it requires

Abysmal workplace!

If you want a job where you’re laughed out, constantly belittled by the management team then go right ahead but be warned that the place is not professional in the slightest. They treat people with learning difficulties I.e autism like rubbish. The store is rife for bullying and it’s just accepted as it’s part of the culture here. Everyone hates their jobs and management will do just about anything to try and keep theres.

It was my best job in my life

I like to work there because it was evening and night shifts that my favourite timing of work, it also little bit heaving lifting, which I like it because it was best for health. I always enjoying to work hard there. My colleague and seniors were best, environment also best, I shall recommend to ever one to join Morrisons.

Understaffed workplace

Never had enough staff working in store so you would always being called to do other jobs as well as what you’re supposed to be doing. Out of all the managers I had only 1 actually cared/appreciated you. Would not recommend working there!

Managers are overworked and don't have enough time to deal with colleagues concerns. Everyone looks after themselves and toe the line, in fear of being ostracised. Overall colleagues are despondent about the management and downturn in standards.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Being overworked and under appreciated

Poor work environment and very stressful

Staff treated unfairly, all of the available overtime given to one person while no one else gets any after asking. Managers constantly lying to staff and making things up about certain people to start arguments - toxic work environment all around. Changing shifts around without any notice, sometimes a day before the shift was due to start. Often times where there isn't any support from managers and you won't see them for hours into your shift and then they expect everything to be done. Staff discount was good but company slowly taking away all of the benefits and pay is generally quite poor unless you are lucky to be given enough hours.
