To be fair the jobs I have been put in haven’t been bad but some of them I’d think twice about going back too. Some staff on jobs where friendly if you knuckled down and didn’t try talking to much you where ok. It’s like most agencies if your there to mess them about they’ll give you the jobs no one else wants (other drivers or staff) I’ve spoken too a few staff they seem ok but you seem to be called mate or when the phones nearly on the receiver you here them backstabbing you for no saying I can’t or no I’ve got an appointment’. They’re not all bad but it’s the odd few! Just let me crack on with what I know.

Very disrespectful company to work for one of the worst agencies out there would avoid at all costs not worth working for this employer even if in desperate need of job still would avoid as this company is a mess

Overpromised

Bullying atmosphere, very clicky, commission structure is a con. Worked over three months, met meeting quotas, had at least ten new jobs to advertise and got single figures in commission (which was triple commission). High staff turnover.

Great Company to work for

Overall a very good company to work for. Everyone pulls together as a team to achieve targets to help each other excel and progress within the business. Financial benefits such as pay rises/commission structure is very clear and demanding enough yet achievable so you are not overworked. The general atmosphere around the company is very relaxed and we are not micromanaged. As long as you are working hard to achieve your goals then the environment is relaxed and enjoyable.A great career move for myself personally who was debating the decision to take the leap into recruitment and I'm very glad I chose Workchain as a business to take this leap.

I worked last year for this cowboy outfit but before that they phone me up they have alot of class 1 and class 2 then out of the blue they promised me this fantastic job there words not mind it was hiab work great so anyway I went to the job it was the other side of haverhill money was no good I told them about travelling and the money was no good if I took that job all my peanuts It would be for my diesel they have never got back to me so stay away from this lot has there full of s..t

They told me that I will have a permanent job for a very good wage from monday and that if I work somewhere, I should quit as soon as possible because they want to be sure that I will work for them.I left permanent possition in good company and I was supposed to start work on other job on Monday. On Monday they called me and said that the truck I was supposed to work ( im CLASS 1 driver) on was broken and I would start working a week later. So I waited until the next week and they told me there were no more vacancies for me and they apologized to me. This agency is a joke, don't go work there under any circumstances !!!!

Take the job offer at the agreed rate 1 week later you have been paid less than the agreed rate! speak to agency contact who off loads the problem to pay admin. Speak to pay admin informed will be made up following week, this was an ongoing problem they cant seem to sort out. Communication not great too much answer phone, the only positive thing pay goes in on Wednesday.

Decent agency

I found this agency actually listened to what I could and couldn’t do and found me suitable work mostly. Easy to get hold of and gave good information about where you were going to work and they would ask you for feedback on where they’d sent you. Hourly rate varied on different assignments so it’s up to you to accept or not. I was found regular work mostly and can honestly say that this has been the better agency that I’ve worked with in Nottingham and I have been signed up with most.

Avoid these barefaced Liars!

Tell you one rate of pay but pay you something completely different, always less.Not to be trusted. Don't believe a word they say. Only concerned about getting their cut from the customer.If a customer wants to employ you full time there is an excessive 15 week transition period.

Great agency, lots of work, and top communication

The Swindon team have been friendly, professional, and efficient throughout my time working for them. They always had excellent communication and all the staff go above and beyond to accommodate all of your needs. I felt valued whilst working for them.

Avoid, they will mess your holiday pay and not pay you at all. Only work for them 6 shift, I was entitled about £80 holiday pay. They said I need to work another 4 shifts to be entitled 1 day. They get paid 12.07% from the costumer and not paying your holiday unless you do 10 shifts! They also very annoying ringing every time even when I told them I was on regular work and wanted nothing to do with them.
