I loved this short period of time within the company and I was hooked. I left after the Christmas period and returned as a 1 man band in 2020. Within 4 months of returning I was given the opportunity to start my own business. Something I had always dreamed of. I now oversee 4 drivers with multiple tours and only wish to expand and provide great service within Yodel. The people are the best aspect of my job. I’m very customer focused and putting a smile on Yodel customer faces is my number 1 priority. Our depots & hubs
Hatfield, Shaw and Wednesbury are our national hubs. They’re the places where every parcel comes in, every parcel goes out, and everyone works to deliver promises together. Each parcel we deliver is one in a million, literally. In our vast Sort and Transport hubs, we aim to deliver every single parcel to the right place, at the right time, each week. Our depots in Hatfield, Shaw and Wednesbury are huge, and the hub for hundreds of friendly people, all focused on getting things right first time for our customers. Sasha's story Sasha started with us in 2018 as a temporary Inbound Sorter. In 2020, Sasha was the Ipswich site's NHS Champion and in Peak 2020, Sasha trained to become a Customer Service Support to develop herself and her career with Yodel. She passed with flying colours and is now a member of the Customer Service Support team. Sasha says "My SVC Manager and all of my team invest in its colleagues and gives people the best opportunity to develop. The Ipswich depot is a friendly group and welcomes everyone into their Yodel Family... Some days are a challenge but I am always learning something new and I take huge pride in NHS collections and making sure they are collected on time."

Our Service Centres handle thousands of parcels every day for clients with customers in every corner of the country. Our CSR Initiatives
2020 presented Yodel with some additional challenges however we have tackled these whilst still keeping a strong focus on our key sustainability and social initiatives. Throughout this year, we have remained committed to positively contributing to our environment, our people and our communities. Health and Wellbeing
Yodel is committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of all colleagues, business partners, and contractors. Our wellbeing agenda is designed as a collaborative commitment to provide development, resources and tools to our managers and colleagues to signpost and support the mental health of our colleagues, both inside and outside of the workplace. In 2021, we will further strengthen our wellbeing culture to create a mentally healthy workplace and ensure that our efforts in this area are effective and long lasting so that all colleagues feel safe and supported when it comes to mental health. To help achieve this and to increase our internal capability to promote and support positive mental health, we have created 24 Mental Health Champions and 70 Mental Health First Aider roles within Yodel; across all departments and locations. These colleagues have been trained to support the mental health of all Yodel colleagues.
