We have plenty of reasons to make our employed Van Drivers smile. Delivering in your local area, you’ll enjoy great benefits, a friendly team, supportive technology and more. Our Drivers do more than deliver millions of parcels each week – they’re the face of our business. We’re on a journey here at Yodel, and our Drivers are at the heart of this change. While experience is a bonus for Van Delivery Drivers, we’re more interested in your enthusiasm, friendly personality, and willingness to go the extra mile to deliver a great customer experience.
Driving as a Courier for Yodel promises freedom. You’ll plan your route, get out on the open road and decide how much you deliver – and earn. To be a Self-Employed Courier that delivers promises as well as parcels, you don’t need delivery experience or livery on your vehicle. As the driving force of Yodel, we will support you from day one to ensure you’re ready to deliver your best. You can then start your engine and enjoy the great feeling that comes from making a difference to people in your local area. Denis story "I joined Yodel in 2018 as a Christmas temp driver. I loved this short period of time within the company and I was hooked. I left after the Christmas period and returned as a 1 man band in 2020. Within 4 months of returning I was given the opportunity to start my own business. Something I had always dreamed of. I now oversee 4 drivers with multiple tours and only wish to expand and provide great service within Yodel. The people are the best aspect of my job. I’m very customer focused and putting a smile on Yodel customer faces is my number 1 priority. I feel the management, the support I receive and the way the business is set up makes my position more than just a job."

You don’t have to be a certain type of person to work here, but there is a certain way of delivering promises that we all share. They’re the behaviours that shape what we do and how we do it. They’re really important to us, no matter where we work. Take a closer look: 1. Think Differently We value fresh ideas and encourage everyone to improve things. We use our common sense. We think “why”, then ask “how can we do this better?”. We tell stories to bring things to life. We speak up to challenge the norm. 2. Link Together We work together and share knowledge. We are generous with our time. We bring out the best in each other. We treat people as individuals. We are well mannered and respectful. 3. Move To The Beat We move at pace and adapt to change. We respond positively to the unknown. We work together to improve the flow. We challenge ourselves to change. We are practical and resourceful. 4. Deliver With Oompf We have a can-do attitude and lead by example. We take bold decisions. We work with energy. We are proud of what we do and recognise a job well done. We inspire others.

Health and Wellbeing
Yodel is committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of all colleagues, business partners, and contractors. Our wellbeing agenda is designed as a collaborative commitment to provide development, resources and tools to our managers and colleagues to signpost and support the mental health of our colleagues, both inside and outside of the workplace.
