POOOOR MANAGEMENT!! Massive lack of communication. Main Manager I think lives on different planet. If you are not picking up your parcel in the main branch, prepare yourself for smashed, dirty wet parcels that delivery boy is throwing of his van every morning, sometimes hard to scan….and getting wet scanning them.Not getting work when promised. Quite messy place.

Basic money easy work could increase wages but will not due to high demand in drivers and other companies such as amazon and the dpd in the same industry.

Long hours , under pressure to get many deliveries done in as little time as possible

Since starting working at yodel about October 2022 I soon discovered its a fast paced working environment with little time to talk to many work colleagues, I work for someone who basically sub contracts to yodel but it makes no difference as you're expected to clear at least 80 parcels a day with only a 2 minute window for each parcel, this is whether you work for a sub contractor or the company itself...Christmas time is hectic as you can imagine, and since they started ordering us all to return to base everyday after parcels are delivered, it unfortunately adds 2 hours onto your day if you live at least some distance away from the sub. Advice is if anyone expects an easy life then do not apply at yodel ! , advantages are they have a coffee machine and some of the sub staff are generally friendly and helpful
