Reviews about Pay & benefits for Sorter at YODEL

Keep yodelling

I worked here before. So was not surprised about anything there. You can make it hard or easy for yourself there as they don't suffer fools there. It is what it is fast pased, hectic and very phisicality demanding. If you can handle that your good to go.

Good pay getting fitter, some good work colleagues

No development, repetitive work, quite brain numbingly boring at times

A hard graft

It’s a physically demanding job. I was sorting heavy items to their correct locations. The pay doesn’t match the graft you do. The people are so-so, just like any work environment, but being able to have a laugh with your colleagues to get you through the day is essential, which this place does just about manage to achieve. No issues with management - like with a lot of half-decent places, they’ll leave you alone if you actually do your job.

Management leave you to it

11-8/9 none stop

Sorting parcels into correct postcode, Sorting through piles of parcels which were thrown on the floor into postcode cage ready to be sorted. Overtime pay is very poor. Worked hard and really grafted hoping for a contract, got told maybe I'd get one then new starter was told if HE liked it they'd give him contract at the end of the week, he was told this on his first night.

Long hours, overtime is time and quarter. Not worth it
