You might think of Yorkshire Housing as ‘just’ a housing provider, but we're so much more than that. We own and manage over 20,000 homes (and counting) across Yorkshire and our mission is to make it possible for current and future tenants to have a place they’re proud to call home. We’re all about the customer, and our service doesn’t stop once the keys are in the door. In fact, we also:
• Offer money and tenancy coaching
• Help older customers live at home independently
• Adapt homes to match the needs of our customers
• Carry out repairs and replace items before things go wrong
• Provide antisocial behaviour support
We’re big on the idea that work is something that you do, not somewhere that you go. What that really means is we’ve left the days of 9-5 behind and you can choose where, when and how you work. We call it our hub, home, roam approach. We also invest in our people and offer fantastic career development opportunities to help you thrive.
We're also a major housing developer in Yorkshire, and we’ve got big growth plans (8,000 more homes in the next 8 years to be exact). We need the right people on our team to make it happen. Could that be you?

Depending on what team you are in Yorkshire Housing is a great place to work with many benefits and if the customer is your focus then you will enjoy the job. Plenty of lovely people to work with also!
Worked here for 2 years. WFH and flexibility is great for work life balance, most people are approachable. Pay isn't amazing but expected seen as it is not a private company. Would recommend company to a friend.
No complaints. Decent company to work for. Plenty of training when required. Decent pension and holiday entitlement and encourage flexible working. I would say they look after you.
After the last few years working for small companies in the Building trades, felt a bit down and was used to be treat badly (but like an old rescue dog) YH saved me, every day is joy, lots of variety, different situations (even jumping back on the Tools occassionly to help out), get a real kick from solving problems and making Tenants living conditions better. A great , warm friendly team, made me feel welcome from day one, feel like I've been here years ( and its only 3 months) everyone mucks in. Love it.
Great onboarding process with as much support as needed from line manager and colleagues. Everyone I have encountered wants to do the right thing (not necessarily the easy thing) for our customers. Highly rewarding and satisfying helping customers improve their wellbeing.
