Waste Resolution Jetting Technician in Sheffield

Hold you back
This company promises everyone progression, so start you off on a low wage and you have to earn your way but in my progression I had to learn things I was never trained to do the progression has 5 levels and I could go no further than level 2, this keeps you down so you can not earn a real wage. Also power mad management too many silly rules a regs. Training is poor and when you ask for help it's ignored poor wage for the role I held.. I could earn more driving skip lorries. Unsociable working hours and very low pay if your a lorry driver!

Could be a great place to work.
If your face fits they will keep you on if not you have no chance, when you start working there make sure you join a union and don’t join unison. And be careful of the men they like to date everyone
Call Centre Operator in Bradford

Opportunities for advancement
Working in the call centre department receiving incoming calls. Was afforded some choice in the hours/days I would like to work. Worked from hot desks with strict log in times and overall monitoring. Plenty of training and support available before working independently. Very keen on health and safety within the work place with comprehensive training on whats expected of you. However hot desk areas were always dirty with thick dust etc. The company would not provide cleaning equipment for the pc's, desks and peripherals and the cleaners would never clean them. You were allowed however to wipe clean surfaces yourself. I think it being a water company they had a policy not to use chemicals where possible. One to one assessments carried out regularly with honest open discussion of expectations and personal goals. Seemed to be plenty of opportunities for further training and transfer to other departments once probationary periods etc satisfied. Always plenty of trained staff to report to, to air any grievances or report any issues. So if f you don't mind having to clean your work area before you start your shift I would highly recommend this employer.
Assistant Management Accountant in Bradford, West Yorkshire

Friendly and great place to work
I was there for 6 years and on really left due to re-locating out of the area. Loved it there. Team were freidly and always supported you and training was good/ There were alwasy long days and busy tmes but thats part of the role you do, There was alwasy opportunties to improve and get progression. Managements were great and I learnt allot of skills in my time there.
leakage inspector in Cottingham, East Riding of Yorkshire
on 17 April 2020
fantastic place to work
I cannot say anything bad about the company as they are just like one big family, Made welcome on your first day and if you get stuck on anything someone is there to help. you start your day going into a area then go sounding valves, hydrants, stop taps. But don't fear you are trained to notice the leak noises plus additional training is provided by the company. eg; confined spaces, first aid, raswa, working at heights etc
