Job Title: Multi-Skilled Commercial Electrician
Location: Camden, London
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: 36 per week (07:00 - 15:15)
Pay Rate: £29.91 per hour (Umbrella/CIS)

The Role:
We are seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Commercial Electrician to join their Building Services team. This role is primarily focused on maintaining and managing complex electrical and mechanical systems across schools and other educational facilities, delivering exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.

You'll be working on both planned and reactive maintenance, including electrical systems, pumps, calorifiers, cold water outlets, lighting, and fire safety systems. The role also involves the installation of plant equipment and the use of BMS and IT systems to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Undertake planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Work with HVAC, lighting, fire safety, and water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
  • Use Building Management Systems (BMS) and other IT platforms to diagnose and troubleshoot faults.
  • Provide excellent customer service while working predominantly in schools and other educational centers.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment related to your area of expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including Legionella control and electrical safety standards.

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a multi-skilled background.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low/high voltage, lighting, fire safety, and water treatment systems.
  • Experience working in an education/school environment would be advantages
  • Experience with HVAC, BMS, PMS, chillers, generators, and data centre infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • 2391-52 Testing and Inspection Certification
  • Asbestos Awareness, First Aid, Manual Handling, or other relevant certifications.
