- Develop Contracting Strategies: Create and approve strategies for sourcing, negotiation, award, execution, and administration of various contract types.
- Ensure Quality: Take ultimate responsibility for the quality of RFP packages and contract documents.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Manage interfaces with Project Management, Construction, Project Controls, Quality, Safety, Finance, Clients, and Joint Venture Partners.
- Risk Management: Protect company interests by enforcing warranties, mitigating risks, and overseeing claims and back charges.
- Lead Large Projects: Direct contract management activities for major EPFC/EPFCM projects with multi-office execution.
- Additional Duties: Support bid evaluations, negotiate terms, and contribute to strategic functional initiatives.
Basic Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in business, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Law, or related field (or global equivalent).
- Minimum 15 years in contract management, subcontract administration, and procurement for engineering and construction projects.
- Skills:
-
- Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international contracting principles and legal terms.
- Ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
Other Job Requirements
- Develop waivers for bonding policies.
- Ensure timely contractor payments.
- Manage processes to avoid claims and assist in equitable settlements.
- Provide consultative support to senior leadership.
- Travel to project sites as needed.
