Apprentice Installer | Intelligent Membranes (Retrofit Specialist)

Are you looking to kickstart a career in the future of sustainable construction? Intelligent Membranes is seeking a motivated Apprentice Installer to join our specialist retrofit team.

You must live in the Biggleswade- South Cambridgeshire area and be able to drive.

We don't just "build"—we use advanced liquid-applied technology to make existing buildings airtight, energy-efficient, and healthy. If you are hands-on, detail-oriented, and want to learn a specialized trade that is in high demand, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As an Apprentice Installer, you will work on retrofit projects, learning to apply our flagship range of smart membranes. You will be trained in the precision application of liquid vapour control layers, ensuring buildings meet the highest standards of performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing surfaces for application on various retrofit sites.
  • Learning the technical application of liquid membranes (such as Passive Purple) using spray gear, rollers, and brushes.
  • Ensuring airtightness integrity around windows, doors, and joists.
  • Assisting with the installation of vapour control layers and specialized coatings for radon protection.
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
