Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team for a project at a wedding venue helping to Labour 175m2 of limestone paving at a wedding venue. This project will last for 2 weeks with potential for more work in the future. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks across our site, including helping to excavate the site, put on mixes, and prepare slabs for laying . This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic working environment in a team of 4. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to contribute to a busy team.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and storage
  • Supporting the setup and dismantling of equipment or work areas as required
  • Preparing mixes and slabs for laying
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work site to promote safety and efficiency
  • Assisting the team members with their tasks as directed
  • Moving materials, tools, and equipment around the site safely and efficiently
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks
  • Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly

Requirements

  • Previous experience in manual labour or construction is advantageous but not essential
  • Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a work environment
