Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a menu, preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. The role will include all kitchen management to include completion of kitchen records and ordering stock. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about cooking and eager to develop their skills within a reputable establishment. The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience and a strong understanding of food preparation and meal presentation.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and standards
  • Ensure timely delivery of meals during service hours
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

  • Proven experience in within a professional restaurant environment
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
  • Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and serving in a fast-paced environment is desirable
