Principle Accountabilities
- Drive Innovation in Next Generation Products: Play a key role in developing flavours and ingredients for cutting-edge products like e-liquids, Heated Tobacco, and Oral Nicotine. Your work will directly influence consumer experience and product success.
- Collaborate Across Global Teams and Partners: Work closely with flavour houses, internal innovation teams, and external technology partners to bring new ideas to life. Build strong relationships and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Lead Technical Development and Prototyping: Prepare, assess, and prototype new ingredients and flavours, supporting scale-up trials and factory workshops. Your expertise will help transform concepts into market-ready products.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert: Provide guidance and technical advice to cross-functional teams including Front-End Innovation, Science, Engineering, and Quality. Your knowledge will shape decisions and improve outcomes.
- Stay Ahead of Trends and Technologies: Keep a sharp eye on emerging flavour trends and new technologies, assessing their potential for our innovation pipeline. Your insights will help us stay ahead in a fast-moving industry.
- Ensure Quality, Safety, and Compliance: Manage documentation, risk assessments, and IP protection to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. Your attention to detail will safeguard our innovation process.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong Technical Foundation: A degree in Food Technology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent experience that demonstrates your expertise.
- Collaborative and Purposeful: Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment and able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
- Accountable and Inclusive: Take ownership of your work with confidence, while fostering authenticity and inclusivity in everything you do.
- Hands-On Innovation: Experience in prototype development and a passion for turning ideas into tangible products that shape the future.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Skilled in planning, time management, and report writing, with the ability to break down complex challenges into achievable goals and deliver effective solutions.
- Continuous Learner: A drive for learning and improvement, open to new ideas, techniques, and innovative approaches that push boundaries.
