Full job description

Transport manager (cpc qualified) required for national container haulage company, you will be partially responsible for 1 of the 6 sites operating up to 35 trucks and trailers alongside a team with other TM's and admin staff.

the company operates over 300 trucks and 500 trailers nationally. the job role is a hands on position, you will utilise trutac and truchecks for tachograph and walk-round check monitoring as well as digital workshop software for PMI's etc.

a CE licence is a must as you will also be involved in presenting for annual test and liaising with the ATF's to ensure a good record of compliance. you will work closely with the workshop on site and other depots to support best practice and meet with the board regularly to feedback and discuss.

good compliance knowledge is essential especially DVSA regulations relating to driver compliance and maintenance monitoring.

the vacancy is based in Hull and is definitely not an admin role, this is suited to a team player who is not afraid to get involved.

salary negotiable dependent on experience and market knowledge
