Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Forensic Science

Salary- Lecturer- 39,162 - £42,773 per annum (pro rata)

Salary- Senior Lecturer- £45,367 - £57,418 per annum (pro rata)

2 positions- Part time 25.9 hours per week/ Permanent

About the Role

There are two posts available, these can be split to make a total of 1.4 Full Time Equivalent(FTE). Although advertised as two 0.7 FTE posts we are open to being flexible. If you are from a practitioner or academic background we want to hear from you.

You will be responsible for delivering the Crime Scene Investigation component of the forensic science courses across undergraduate and postgraduate modules. This includes crime scene management and processing of digital evidence.

You will support student development and graduate opportunities.

You will contribute towards course development and accreditation.

You will be supported in the advancement of your research, practice or scholarship.

You will be joining a department of Chemistry and Forensic Science and be open to interdisciplinary working .
