Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a strong ability to manage guest inquiries, handle reservations, and efficiently maintain front desk operations. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction are essential.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly welcome.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes smoothly and efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest information.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Process payments and manage cash handling procedures accurately.
  • Ensure the reception area is organised, clean, and presentable at all times.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist in managing phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, ensuring all inquiries are addressed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong guest service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage, but training will be provided.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
