This is a full time, office based role where you will play a critical role in analyzing sales and market data to provide actionable insights that optimise sales strategies, increase revenue, and support the growth objectives of Acme Vape Ltd/IVG. By collaborating closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams, the Data Analyst will help position the company as an industry leader through informed decision-making.

Reporting to : Commercial Director

Job Description:

  • Collect, process, and analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the vape market.
  • Communicate and present findings, trends and recommendations through visualisation to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor sales performance, customer behaviour, and market trends using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create accurate sales forecasts and set realistic targets based on historical data and market insights.
  • Conduct market research to analyse competitor activity, consumer preferences, and emerging trends in the vaping industry.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to the sales and marketing teams to enhance promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and product positioning.
  • Work with the marketing team to evaluate the ROI of sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by managing and updating master data sets and troubleshooting data issues.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, customer retention, and regional sales performance.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders to assist with problem solving through clear, concise reports and presentations to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure data analysis complies with relevant standards in the vaping sector.

ROLE REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably supporting sales or marketing teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced), Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the vaping industry or retail sector is a plus but not required.
  • Understanding of statistical methods and forecasting techniques is preferred.
