Full job description

We are seeking a Sales Administrator to join a small established team in a highly successful company to carry out the following daily tasks:

  • Receive and process sales orders via phone & email and enter on Sage accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required information is complete. Coordinate with colleagues in purchasing, accounts, and stores to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Shared responsibility for answering incoming calls and responding appropriately
  • Order and Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels (website), process purchase orders on Sage, coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment, and track shipments. Ensure accurate stock levels and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
  • Checking purchase invoices against purchase orders
  • Dealing with courier insurance claims
  • Dealing with remote collections (UK & Overseas)
  • Maintain Sales Database (CRM)
  • Greeting visitors who come to our premises
  • Other office admin duties as required
  • Assist with the processing and submission of warranty claims for various suppliers

You will be able to clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience in a sales support role
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise, multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive attitude and able to work independently or collaboratively as a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem -solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of order processing systems and CRM software.
  • Good memory retention

A knowledge of Sage would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
