We are looking for a friendly and reliable Takeaway Assistant to join our team! This is a mixed role involving front-of-house duties and delivering orders (only when required), so a valid UK driving licence is essential.
Your vehicle must already have existing insurance — delivery car insurance will be provided by us. Maintenance of your vehicle is not the employer’s responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Taking orders in-store and over the phone
- Packing food accurately
- Assisting with general shop duties
- Preparing orders when required
- Following the cleaning schedule during your shift to maintain high hygiene standards
- Delivering customer orders safely and on time when required.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence
- Your vehicle must have existing insurance
- Maintenance of your vehicle is your responsibility
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility is essential — latest shift ends at 11pm, and you must be willing to work until then
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
