Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your driving & removal expertise within a dynamic logistics environment, contributing to the smooth provision of our services.

Duties

  • Operate 3.5 t Luton vans in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Complete domestic and commercial removals promptly and securely, ensuring all items are handled with care.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Loading and unloading furniture & boxes, utilising warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with operations regarding schedules or any issues encountered.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols during transportation and loading activities.
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, organised, and compliant with legal requirements at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial driving or as a removal van/truck driver.
  • Valid Cat B driver’s licence.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle checks and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and dispatch teams.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. This role offers an engaging opportunity for experienced drivers seeking a professional environment where their skills are valued and utilised effectively.
