The Role – Supply Chain Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Supply Chain team, based in our Oxford depot. In this role, you will ensure that product stock levels are kept in line with customer demand and will collaborate with other departments and suppliers.

You will have the autonomy to make decisions and take total ownership of your supplier base to ensure our customers' orders are fulfilled.

This role is fast-paced and challenging, yet very rewarding. Teamwork skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing stock availability for your supplier portfolio across all 3 depots
  • Identifying and resolving potential issues and opportunities.
  • Liaising with suppliers.
  • Working to exceed KPIs, including stock levels, stock availability, and stock write-off
  • Dealing with product queries
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required.

Person Specification

· Self-motivated and forward-thinking.

· Happy to take responsibility and make decisions.

· You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

· You will have solid IT skills and be technology savvy.

· Positive and can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

· Ability to prioritise workload and adhere to deadlines.

· Good attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.

· Ability to work as a team player within a busy department.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

· English and Maths GCSE

· Demonstrable evidence of a good level of Microsoft Excel ability

· Ability to quickly pick up and understand new systems.

· Has previous experience in inventory, order fulfilment, stock management, product complaints, and inbound deliveries.

Job Types: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £33,600 per year (depending on experience)

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday – In office

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kidlington, OX5 1FP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
