Full job description

Location: Farnborough or Newbury (on-site 4-5 days per week)
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday


Security Clearance: This position requires the person to hold or to be eligible to undergo UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

What you’ll do


To be part of a Secure IT team, responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure-


  • Develop and maintain secure operating system builds
  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of all IT related infrastructure
  • Install and test new/updated IT applications
  • Interface with IP Network and Security Engineers to produce system designs
  • Provide 3rd line support


Who you are


  • Linux (CentOS, Debian, RHEL) & Windows System Administration
  • Working knowledge of virtualization (VMWare)
  • Endpoint protection management
  • Experience of following IT Security Policy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operating system and application issues
