Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of patrons and premises at a venue in Bath. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. This role is vital in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere at our venue, requiring a confident presence and strong organisational skills.

Duties

  • Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorised access and ensure only authorised individuals enter the premises
  • Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within and around the venue
  • Perform regular loss prevention checks to minimise theft or unauthorised removal of property
  • Enforce venue policies and procedures, including age verification and dress code compliance
  • Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, de-escalating situations where necessary
  • Provide first aid assistance in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives
  • Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Assist with crowd control during events to ensure safety and order are upheld

Qualifications

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
  • Experience in security roles is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
  • First aid certification is mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
  • Physically fit, with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond swiftly to incidents
