Drivers Mate –Southampton

Are you looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? We are recruiting Drivers Mates in Southampton to assist with the delivery of household furniture direct to customers’ homes.

The role:

  • Working alongside a driver to deliver furniture safely into customers’ houses
  • Heavy lifting is involved, so you’ll need to be physically fit
  • Providing excellent customer service with a friendly, can-do attitude
  • Start times are usually 6 am, with some shifts starting at 10:30 am
  • Shifts are around 11 hours long
  • Work is available Monday to Saturday (Saturday is part of the regular working week)
  • Flexibility to choose 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 shifts per week – ideal for a work-life balance

What you need:

  • Your own transport to get to and from the distribution centre for early starts (no public transport available at 6 am)
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer care.
  • Pass a DBS check completed by us.

Pay & Benefits:

  • £12.45 per hour
  • Weekly pay
  • Flexible working pattern

Induction:

  • Monday 29th 11am
