Interviews to take place: Sandstone Care Groups Head Office, 2 George Street, Chester, CH1 3EQ
Sandstone Care Group is a values-led provider of high-quality residential and nursing care for older people. With a growing portfolio of care homes, we are committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care in warm and welcoming environments. At the heart of our success is a focus on people—both the individuals we care for and the dedicated team members who support them.
We believe that ongoing learning and development are key to ensuring excellence across our services. That's why we're now looking for a dedicated and experienced Learning and Development Partner to join our team.

You will work closely with home managers, regional teams, and the Learning and Development Manager to assess training needs and develop effective learning interventions that reflect best practice in the care sector.
This is a hands-on, varied role where you will deliver training in multiple formats, design and update course content, mentor individuals through qualification programmes, and help embed a culture of continuous learning across the organisation.
You'll be based remotely but will regularly travel to sites across the North West, with occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with home managers to assess learning needs and shape local training plans
Design, deliver and evaluate a range of learning programmes across different formats (face-to-face, online, on-the-job, coaching)
Deliver engaging workshops to new and existing staff, including mandatory and developmental topics
Support learners undertaking Apprenticeships and Care Certificate programmes
Use and administer the learning management system to track and report on training compliance
Produce and maintain high-quality learning materials and resources
Mentor and guide colleagues at all levels to enhance skills, confidence and performance
Stay up-to-date with sector developments, qualifications and regulatory expectations
Promote and support a learning culture across all levels of the organisation
Contribute to service improvement initiatives and organisational projects as required
Actively participate in team and stakeholder meetings, contributing insight and professional guidance
Represent the Learning and Development team with professionalism, integrity, and respect
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications Required
Required:
Previous experience in a learning and development or education role
Relevant L&D qualification (PTLLS or equivalent Level 3) - Desirable
Experience in the health and social care sector
Full clean UK driving licence with access to own vehicle
