LGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver (Self-Employed / Limited Company)

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol (BS11)
Hours: Monday to Friday – Night Trunk
Start Time: 19:30
Finish Time: Approx. 05:00–06:00

Safe Group are seeking a reliable, experienced self-employed LGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver, operating through a Limited Company, to join our night operation based in Avonmouth.

The Role

  • Night trunking work only – no multi-drop
  • Collect fully loaded trailers from Avonmouth
  • Trunk to our Midlands hub
  • Return to Avonmouth with palletised freight
  • Well-planned, consistent routes
  • Monday to Friday (no weekends)

Requirements

  • LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for minimum 2 years
  • Proven double-deck trunking experience (essential)
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Strong understanding of drivers’ hours and compliance
  • Professional, dependable, and safety-focused

Pay & Contract

  • Minimum hourly rate: £23.00 per hour
  • Self-employed / Limited Company only
  • VAT-registered companies welcome
  • Weekly payment upon receipt of valid company invoice
  • Long-term, ongoing work available
