Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated people to provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidates will have empathy, and a passion to make a real difference to people's lives.

Only bank positions available, we are looking for people able to travel across Gateshead, Darlington and County Durham, so will need to be drivers with their own car.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care to clients including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting needs.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
  • Support with mobility including using equipment to move people safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Support clients with daily living tasks while encouraging independence where possible.
  • Implement behaviour support strategies as needed to ensure a safe environment and positive outcomes for all clients.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Experience working in homecare, care homes, nursing homes, or hospice settings is beneficial.
  • A caring attitude and the ability to work effectively with individuals of varying needs and backgrounds are essential.

Pay: £13.30 per hour
