Full job description

Minoa Education

Founded in 2021, our mission is simple but ambitious: to create the highest quality early years education group in the UK.

Role Overview

As our nursery group continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Regional Manager to join us - someone who is just as passionate about high-quality early years education as they are about strong, effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

Educational Quality and Leadership

· Promote and facilitate collaboration within the region to share insights, strategies, and successful practices in education and development.

· Provide strategic oversight of educational quality across all settings, ensuring consistently high standards of practice aligned with the organisation’s ethos and expectations.

· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum delivery, pedagogy and leadership through structured visits, data review and professional dialogue.

· Coach, challenge and support Nursery Managers to strengthen educational leadership and reflective practice.

· Identify patterns, strengths and areas for development across the region, driving improvement at a leadership level (rather than through direct delivery).

· Ensure educational quality remains central to operational and commercial decision-making.

People Leadership and Performance

  • Line manage Nursery Managers, providing clear direction, regular supervision and performance management.
  • Build leadership capacity across the region through coaching, mentoring and targeted development.
  • Hold managers accountable for staff performance, conduct and wellbeing within their settings.
  • Identify succession opportunities and talent across the region, supporting stability and continuity of leadership.
  • Promote a positive, values-led culture that supports consistency, professionalism and collaboration.

Safeguarding, Welfare & Compliance

· Hold regional oversight of safeguarding and welfare arrangements, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of statutory requirements across all settings

· Provide assurance that policies, procedures and safer working practices are embedded and followed

· Monitor compliance through audits, reviews and visits, escalating concerns and supporting timely action where required

· Support Nursery Managers in fulfilling their safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring clear accountability and effective risk management

· Maintain oversight of regulatory compliance across the region

Commercial & Operational Performance

  • Hold regional accountability for occupancy, budget performance and overall financial sustainability.
  • Monitor performance data across settings, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support Nursery Managers to deliver agreed commercial objectives while maintaining educational integrity.
  • Ensure operational decisions are aligned with organisational standards and long-term strategic priorities.
  • Take a proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing competing demands and regional challenges.

This role is ideal for someone who:

· Has proven experience leading across multiple nursery settings.

· Enjoys coaching and mentoring Nursery Managers and developing confident, capable leaders.

· Is able to balance educational leadership with operational and commercial accountability.

· Values being present in settings, building relationships and leading with positivity.

· Is happy to travel across Worcestershire, Wiltshire and surrounding areas, as our group grows.

If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely shape educational quality, support brilliant managers and be part of a growing, values-led organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
