Full job description

Our community nursery is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our small but very busy setting. We are based within a multi-purpose facility and proudly serve a diverse local community.

This role will primarily involve working with children our preschool children.

What we’re looking for:

  • A minimum Level 2 childcare qualification (Level 3 preferred).
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS, child development, and early learning.
  • An understanding of inclusive practice and the ability to meet the needs of all children.
  • Someone reliable, caring, and able to work effectively as part of a small team.
  • 3–4 days per week, with flexible working hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
  • Salary quoted is based on full-time equivalent (FTE).
  • Successful candidates will need to meet all vetting requirements, including references and satisfactory DBS clearance.
