Level 3 Nursery Room Lead

Location: Wallington
Contract Type: Full time- 4 days a week 7:30am-18:30pm
Salary: £14.50

Job Purpose:

To lead our toddler room within the nursery setting, providing high-quality care. You will guide a team, plan and deliver engaging activities, ensure a safe and stimulating environment, and foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and supervise your team within the room.
  • Ensure daily routines are followed and the team works cohesively.
  • Deliver a play-based EYFS curriculum that supports the development and well-being of all children.
  • Plan, observe, and assess children's progress, keeping accurate and up-to-date records
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment, following nursery policies and procedures.
  • Report any concerns regarding children, staff, or the environment to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).

Qualifications required to carry out the role:

· Level 3 childcare qualification or above- required

· Experience of working in childcare – required

Hours and Salary

Our settings are open 7.30am until 6.30pm. 52 weeks per year

4 full days 7:30am-6:30pm

Salary: £14.50 Per Hour
