Responsibilities
Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. As a Listing Product Listing Policy Operations Manager you will be responsible for risk assessment, policy strategy and operational execution of listing level governance policies in the EMEA region.
- Responsible for defining listing governance scope and requirements, based on risk assessment approach.
- Drive and execute global listing governance processes in a scalable way, leveraging technology to implement automations.
- Stay up-to-date with international, regional, and local regulations applicable to Tiktok Shop's products. This includes investigating laws related to illegal products, product safety, product compliance, testing, certifications, registrations, labeling, packaging, and other relevant criteria.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure adherence to listing policies across different markets. This may involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess and address compliance risks.
- Educate internal and external stakeholders to ensure our programs and processes are compliant.
- Collaborating with technical teams to develop the best product compliance solution for our business.
- Using data-centered approach to continuously improve product compliance program on the platform.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of risk management experience including with consumer product compliance/safety related risk management experience.
- Knowledge of international consumer product safety issues in categories of consumer products, such as consumer electronics, beauty and personal case, toys, or other generic baby products.
- Understanding of product compliance environment or regulatory trends.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously navigating problem, solution and strategy that are not well-defined. Delivering independently, with limited guidance.
- Curiosity and ability to learn new technology and subject matter areas.
- Proficient in analysis capability and tools (Excel, Access, SQL) for data analysis and reporting.
