Job Title: Interim Director, Ecommerce Trading and Content

Department: E-Commerce

Reporting to: Senior Director of Ecommerce and Omnichannel Trading

Role Purpose: Responsible for driving the digital commercial and content strategy for Jimmy Choo

Nature and Scope of Position:

  • Responsible for defining and driving the commercial and content strategy for ecommerce.

  • Own the global omnichannel sales budgeting and forecasting process, developing robust building blocks and presenting to business stakeholders.

  • Oversee all onsite analytics, A/B testing and personalisation tools, using them to deliver budgeted KPIs

  • Drive the conversion optimisation strategy with a strong focus on UX, mapping the customer journey and using data to drive decisions.

  • Play a key role in planning the website development roadmap, suggesting and leading strategic projects.

  • Create the seasonal trading and content strategy, collaborating closely with the relevant teams to ensure executed to the highest standard.

  • Work closely with Director of Ecommerce Marketing to effectively trade each marketing channel in season.

  • Collaborate with regional buying teams on the seasonal buying and continuative reorder process, ensuring optimum levels of stock whilst remaining within projected OTB

  • Manage strategic eCommerce partnerships which help to maximise brand image, reach, revenue and profit.

  • Work collaboratively with Brand, Marketing and Creative teams to define the visual and written digital brand guidelines

  • Lead the seasonal production process across product photography, copy and translations via both in-house teams and external agencies.

  • Oversee localisation across markets, ensuring language, product, merchandising and content reflect regional needs.

  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies to ensure budget is adhered to and best value, service and relationships are maintained.

  • Lead an established team across trading, partnerships, content and design.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of eCommerce and Omnichannel experience, preferably in a luxury fashion brand.

  • Strong analytical and business decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate highest impact initiatives to drive performance.

  • Knowledge of web technologies, best-practice user experience design/layout, and site performance measurement.

  • Strong organisational and management skills, including experience of working with international teams across time zones.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, being flexible in approach to meet the requirements of the business.

  • Strong understanding of luxury, branding and fashion.
