Are you a graduate passionate about English and supporting young people to achieve their potential?

Step Into Teaching are looking for motivated Graduate Literacy Tutors to work with schools across South Yorkshire. This is a fantastic paid opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, make a real difference in students’ learning, and take your first step toward a career in education.

What You’ll Do

  • Tutor individual students or small groups in English
  • Support students in developing reading, writing, and comprehension skills

  • Build positive relationships and encourage engagement with learning
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to teachers

Who We’re Looking For

  • Recent graduates with a degree in English or related field
  • Passionate about helping students succeed
  • Confident, proactive, and able to motivate learners
  • Excellent communicators, empathetic, and patient
  • Based in or able to commute to South Yorkshire
