Apprentice Electro-Mechanical Engineer (Banbury)

The role
We are looking for a local person to join our team of specialist engineers in Banbury. You will be mentored in-house and attend a college course to gain your electrical and mechanical qualifications via a full apprentership. You therefore need the appropriate GCSE's to gain entry onto the apprentership course. The person and their potential is more important to us than your current status. We have a wide range in starting salary as we expect a range of different experiences and abilities to apply. For example if you already have some mechanical or electrical experience you will be at the higher end of the range.
About you:
- GCSE qualifications to gain entry onto apprentership
- A desire to know how things work
- Fault-finding, troubleshooting mindset
- Customers are a blessing not a problem attitude
- Computer skills required to basic level, email etc
- Team player
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Profile
- Engineering qualification at GCSE, A level or college.
- Knowledge of rotating machinery would be useful but not essential.
- Knowledge of electrical installations would be useful but not essential

£19,000 - 1st year
£21,000 - 2nd year
£25,000 - 3rd year
Pay 21 years over
£25,000 - 1st year
Rising upon successful completion of your apprentership, typically 10% year on year increases whilst learning.
