About Us

We are an established and growing electrical compliance and testing company, delivering multi-site electrical inspection and compliance programmes across a wide range of sectors. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and a close-knit, supportive team, we are proud of the continued growth that has created this exciting opportunity.

We invest in our people — offering ongoing training and development, clear career progression pathways, and a working environment where your expertise is genuinely valued.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Testing Contract Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our electrical testing and associated remedial works contracts. Reporting directly to the Contracts Director, you will take ownership of electrical inspection programmes, coordinate remedial works, support and lead engineering teams, and maintain strong client relationships — ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.

This is a role that offers genuine variety — no two days are the same — and is ideal for a technically competent individual who thrives on managing multiple projects and building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of electrical testing and compliance contracts across multiple client sites
  • Coordinate and support teams of electrical testing engineers and remedial electricians
  • Review Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and coordinate remedial works arising from identified defects
  • Liaise with clients regarding inspection findings, quotations, approvals, and ongoing project progress
  • Schedule and organise works to maximise efficient delivery and engineer productivity
  • Ensure all works comply with BS 7671, relevant industry regulations, and company quality standards
  • Manage materials procurement and logistics required for remedial works and project delivery
  • Monitor project progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reporting to the Contracts Director
  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-ground support to engineers when required
  • Maintain high standards of client communication and professional relationship management

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 and EICR coding
  • Proven experience in electrical testing, inspection, and remedial works
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills
  • Comfortable using scheduling or job management software

Desirable:

  • Previous experience managing electrical engineers or technical teams
  • Experience in a contract or project management capacity within the electrical compliance sector

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of £50,000–£55,000 depending on experience
  • Performance-related bonus of up to 5% of annual salary
  • Electric company vehicle provided
  • Company pension scheme
  • Ongoing training and development — we invest in your growth
  • Clear career progression opportunities within a growing business
  • Supportive, close-knit team environment
  • On-site parking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company car
  • Company pension
  • On-site parking

Work Location: In person
