Equans Data Centers are seeking to appoint Project Managers – Electrical, to support our growing Data Centre business.


We are committed to providing cutting edge solutions for our clients Data Centre facilities and are recruitment Project Managers – Electrical to join our innovative team in projects based in the UK. The Project Managers – Electrical will be part of the team responsible for managing the construction aspects of large projects from inception to completion, within set timescales, to high quality standards and within health and safety guidelines.


What you will deliver?

  • Manage a team to ensure that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards
  • Be an expert and provide guidance and direction to ensure operational excellence
  • Coordinate and control the on-site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan
  • Develop and agree electrical submission and approval process with the client and design team
  • Support the overall programming and planning of the build
  • Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports
  • Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings
  • Recording and reporting key metrics to team members and management
  • Operational support including review of procedures, best practices and initiatives

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor
  • Proven people management experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Proven technical knowledge of Electrical Services
  • Knowledge and skills to effectively problem solve
  • A keen desire to continually develop knowledge further
  • Be self-motivated, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines
  • Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Attention to Health and Safety matters
  • Commercially astute
  • Experience in the data centres sector is desirable
  • Degree or equivalent in an Electrical discipline is desirable.
