Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician Solar to join our dynamic renewable energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar power systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help drive the transition to sustainable energy solutions, making a positive impact on communities and the environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge solar projects while honing your technical skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Duties

  • Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites following safety standards and technical specifications
  • Conduct electrical wiring, connections, and testing of solar panels, inverters, and related components
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble mounting structures and secure electrical components
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to diagnose faults accurately
  • Operate heavy machinery such as excavators when site preparation requires earthworks or foundation installation
  • Weld metal parts or structures as needed for mounting systems or repair purposes

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with electrical systems, especially in solar or renewable energy projects
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical assembly techniques
  • Ability to operate excavators or similar heavy machinery is a plus
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work and construction sites
  • Valid electrician certification or license as required by local regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
